Robert M. Riffle
For over thirty five (35) years, Bob Riffle has applied his legal skills, compassion and dedication to solving his clients’ problems, and helping his clients optimize their opportunities. His major clients have relied on him for decades. Bob is not interested in “one and done” engagements, but rather in forming true, long lasting, and mutually beneficial business relationships. Bob spent his early career practicing in a large firm environment, and later practiced in a medium size firm environment as a named partner. He formed his new firm in 2014 to provide more focused attention to his key clients. Environmental/Regulatory
With over three decades of experience in dealing with regulatory agencies, including IEPA, USEPA, Pollution Control Board, Department of the Interior, and other private and governmental entities, we have the background to competently and efficiently handle your environmental regulatory matters.
Environmental/Litigation
We have litigated (and are currently litigating) dozens of environmental lawsuits, including environmental contamination litigation, RCRA and CERCLA matters, IEPA violations, neighboring landowner suits, toxic torts, and IEPA/Pollution Control Board appeals. We do not shy away from taking on the Government or major corporations, and their large law firms. In fact, we really enjoy those challenges!
Transactions
We have participated in over $100,000,000 in business transactions, representing buyers, sellers, lending institutions, and other interested third parties.
Commercial Real Estate
We have handled over $30,000,000 in commercial real estate transactions, representing buyers, sellers, lending institutions, and other interested third parties.
Estate Planning
We have structured and documented Estate Plans for estates ranging from $500,000 to $25,000,000 in a very efficient manner.
